Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and facility protocols
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans for diverse populations
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and treatment plans
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and all safety protocols
Qualifications
- Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care or clinical experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends/holidays
- Valid CPR certification
