Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care across diverse clinical settings including emergency, ICU, and med-surg units
- Administer medications, treatments, and wound care with precision and safety protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR systems with meticulous detail
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Respond swiftly to critical situations using advanced life support techniques
- Participate in shift handovers ensuring seamless continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active Michigan RN license with clean disciplinary record
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in hospital environment
- BLS/ACLS certifications; PALS preferred for specialty units
- Strong proficiency in Epic EMR systems and clinical documentation
- Proven ability to prioritize complex cases in high-pressure scenarios
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
