Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately with proper documentation
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to healthcare team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and self-care
- Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Kansas RN license (required)
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in acute care setting
- BLS/CPR certification (current)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
