Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care across diverse patient populations
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care
- Educate patients/families on health management and discharge plans
- Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital compliance standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active NE RN license or compact state eligibility
- BSN preferred; ADN with relevant experience considered
- 1+ years acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
- Ability to work 24-32 hours/week with rotating shifts
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
