Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including medication administration, wound care, and treatment monitoring
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments and progress accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and self-care techniques
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergency situations with swift intervention
- Maintain strict compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Texas (TX RN)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience in acute care or specialty setting
- BLS/CPR certification and ACLS preferred
- Strong communication skills with ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Electronic health record proficiency (Epic experience highly valued)
- Commitment to compassionate care and evidence-based practice
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
