Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care assessment, planning, and intervention in accordance with established protocols
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely in electronic health records
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and self-care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active Kansas RN license in good standing
- ACLS/BLS certification (or obtainable within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
