Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in medical/surgical units with diverse patient populations
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient conditions and respond rapidly to changes in status
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and discharge protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Massachusetts
- BSN degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Electronic health record proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work 24-32 hours per week including weekends
