Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across diverse clinical settings including ER, ICU, and Med-Surg units
- Administer medications, perform diagnostic procedures, and monitor patient vital signs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and preventive care
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous education
Qualifications
- Active Michigan RN license (compact license holders welcome)
- ACLS/BLS certification required (must be maintained)
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in acute care setting
- Strong assessment skills and critical thinking abilities
- Experience with Epic EHR system preferred
- Ability to work independently and in high-pressure environments
