Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality direct patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations with precision and compassion
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records accurately and timely
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and preventive care
- Maintain sterile environments and ensure compliance with OSHA/JCAHO regulations
- Respond efficiently to emergency situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Current Texas RN license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required (ACLS/PALS a plus)
- Strong assessment skills and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems (Epic experience preferred)
