Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including assessments, medication administration, and treatment monitoring
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and self-care techniques
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Indiana (or compact state)
- Associates or BSN degree (BSN preferred)
- 1+ years clinical nursing experience (acute care preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Proficiency with EHR systems (EPIC experience a plus)
