Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care and support, monitoring vital signs and health status.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient observations, interventions, and responses accurately and timely.
- Assist in emergency response situations and maintain a calm, professional demeanor.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in Pennsylvania.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
