Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor health status to identify changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Provide patient and family education regarding care instructions and health management.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies within the assigned shift.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina (or ability to obtain).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality of care standards.
