Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings with focus on medication administration and treatment protocols
- Monitor vital signs and document patient progress using EMR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge procedures
- Adhere to infection control standards and safety protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Qualifications
- Active Missouri RN license with BLS certification
- Associates or BSN degree from accredited nursing program
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
