Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including medication administration, wound care, and IV therapy
- Monitor vital signs and document patient progress in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety regulations
- Participate in shift handoffs and emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (current and in good standing)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Epic EHR preferred
