Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with physician orders and established nursing protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately, monitoring patient responses
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process enhancement
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license (or compact license eligible for Texas)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in acute care or specialty setting
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
