Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Document patient care accurately in electronic health records (EHR) and maintain up-to-date medical histories.
- Provide patient education regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and preventative health measures.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff, following all hygiene and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California (CA RN License).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome with strong clinical rotation.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods as required by patient care duties.
