Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care across diverse medical units including ER, ICU, and outpatient clinics
- Administer medications, treatments, and immunizations with precision and safety
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergency situations with rapid clinical assessment
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Active California RN license with no disciplinary actions
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care settings
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic experience strongly preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated cultural competency
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within teams
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
