Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide clear education to patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and disease management.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, ensuring a safe and healing environment.
- Assist in discharge planning and transition of care coordination.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
