Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across diverse units including ICU, ER, and oncology
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment procedures and health management
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Minnesota (or compact state)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in acute care setting
- BLS/ACLS certification required; PALS preferred
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and electronic health record proficiency
- Ability to work 12-24 hours/week with flexible scheduling
