Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care: Assess patient conditions and administer treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vitals: Observe and record patient responses to medication and therapy.
- Collaborate with the care team: Communicate effectively with doctors, nurses, and specialists to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain accurate medical records: Document patient progress, procedures, and health status in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families: Provide clear instructions on post-care, medication management, and lifestyle changes.
- Respond to emergencies: Act swiftly and calmly in critical situations to ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- Active RN License: Must possess a valid Registered Nurse license issued by the Texas Board of Nursing.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN, BSN, or MSN).
- Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer Proficiency: Ability to navigate EHR systems efficiently.
