Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms by setting up sterile fields, instruments, and equipment
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile environments and enforce infection control protocols
- Count and manage surgical instruments pre/post-procedure
- Transport patients and prepare them for surgical interventions
- Assist with sterile processing and equipment maintenance
- Document surgical activities and inventory accurately
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification
- Minimum 1 year of surgical tech experience
- Knowledge of sterile processing and instrumentation
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
- Current BLS certification
