Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile environments and sterilize equipment per OSHA standards
- Document surgical cases accurately in electronic health records
- Inventory and manage surgical supplies to prevent shortages
- Transport patients safely to and from surgical suites
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- 1+ years of recent OR experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification maintained
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing protocols
- Flexibility to cover evenings and weekends as needed
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
