Responsibilities
- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment according to strict protocols
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterile fields
- Monitor patient vital signs and document intraoperative events
- Manage surgical inventory and ensure optimal supply levels in OR suites
- Adhere to OSHA and AORN standards for safe instrument handling
- Collaborate with anesthesia and nursing teams for seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification required
- 1+ years of recent surgical tech experience preferred
- Knowledge of sterile processing and surgical instrumentation
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Current BLS certification
- Experience with robotic surgical systems a plus
