Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telehealth patient assessments via secure video platforms
- Provide clinical guidance and prioritize patient needs based on established protocols
- Collaborate with on-site medical teams for complex case management
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for critical situations
- Delicate patient education on self-care and treatment options
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois (IL RN license required)
- Minimum 3 years triage or emergency nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms (e.g., Teladoc, Amwell)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with Epic or Cerner EHR systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
