Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols
- Handle surgical equipment and instruments with precision
- Manage specimen collection and documentation processes
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure seamless workflow
- Perform equipment sterilization and maintenance duties
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 1 year OR experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Knowledge of sterile processing and HIPAA compliance
- Ability to stand for extended periods in fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valid Arizona Surgical Tech license
- Experience with major surgical specialties (Ortho, General, etc.)
