Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telephone triage assessments for diverse patient populations
- Provide accurate clinical guidance and health advice per established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams for complex cases
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Manage patient flow and prioritize urgent cases effectively
- Educate patients on home care instructions and follow-up protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and training programs
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Texas (TX)
- Minimum 2 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Spanish bilingualism strongly preferred
