Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments via phone, video, and in-person triage
- Provide accurate medical advice and prioritize patient care based on urgency
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care plans
- Document patient encounters meticulously in EMR systems
- Educate patients on treatment protocols and preventive care
- Manage high-pressure situations with empathy and clinical expertise
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Maryland (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency with telehealth platforms and EMR systems
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments
- Availability for evening/weekend shifts
