Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone triage to determine medical urgency
- Provide accurate clinical guidance and health education to callers
- Collaborate with physicians and ER teams for critical case escalations
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Coordinate patient transfers and resource allocation
- Implement infection control protocols per CDC guidelines
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license with 2+ years clinical experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Triage certification or equivalent emergency training preferred
- Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Ability to work 20-24 hours/week including weekends
- Strong knowledge of adult/pediatric emergency protocols
