Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and medical history using standardized triage protocols
- Provide urgent care guidance via telehealth and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Educate patients on appropriate care pathways and preventive measures
- Handle emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Monitor patient flow and adjust resource allocation as needed
Qualifications
- Current NY RN license (required)
- Minimum 2 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
