Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via telehealth platform and provide clinical triage recommendations
- Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate care pathways
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR systems
- Educate patients on home care instructions and when to seek emergency care
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and data security protocols
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active NC RN license (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years ER/urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong telehealth assessment skills
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking abilities
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment
