Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telephone and telehealth patient assessments using evidence-based triage protocols
- Provide clinical guidance to patients regarding symptoms, home care, and emergency care protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient care plans and referrals
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) with detailed documentation of all interactions
- Manage high-volume call queues while maintaining compassion and efficiency
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and organizational safety standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives for triage processes
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Georgia (GA RN)
- Minimum 2 years of emergency room or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to work independently and in high-pressure environments
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
