Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures using proper infection control protocols
- Take and develop dental X-rays with digital radiography systems
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Manage patient records and scheduling using Dentrix software
- Take impressions and pour dental models
- Provide post-operative instructions to patients
- Order dental supplies and maintain inventory
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset
- Willingness to complete state radiology certification
- No prior dental experience required (training provided)
