Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize medical emergencies using evidence-based protocols
- Provide telehealth and in-person triage consultations with clear documentation in EHR systems
- Collaborate with physicians to coordinate patient care pathways and discharge planning
- Educate patients on treatment options and preventive care measures
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and strict confidentiality standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California
- Minimum 2 years emergency department or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish preferred
- Proficiency with Epic EHR systems
- Ability to work 20-32 hours per week including weekends
