Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and medical history to determine urgency and appropriate care pathways
- Provide accurate clinical guidance and health education to patients via phone, email, and in-person consultations
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
- Maintain detailed electronic health records with precise documentation
- Triage emergency cases and facilitate rapid transfers when necessary
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and institutional protocols at all times
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona (unrestricted)
- Minimum 2 years emergency room or urgent care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems preferred
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
