Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and medical history via phone, telehealth, and in-person consultations
- Prioritize patient cases using clinical protocols and established triage algorithms
- Provide clear medical guidance and education to patients and families
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and care coordination teams
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EHR system
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current Ohio RN license (required)
- Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience (ER, urgent care, or telehealth preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (maintained)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and de-escalation abilities
- Proficiency with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently and in collaborative settings
