Responsibilities
- Assess patient calls via telehealth and in-person triage using clinical judgment protocols
- Document patient encounters accurately in EMR systems with strict HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate urgent care pathways
- Provide clear, empathetic communication to patients and families during critical moments
- Monitor and track patient outcomes to ensure timely intervention
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives for triage protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee with no disciplinary actions
- Minimum 3 years acute care or emergency nursing experience
- BLS/ACLS certification required, TNCC preferred
- Expertise in symptom assessment and emergency triage protocols
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Proficient in Epic EMR systems
- Ability to work independently with strong critical thinking
