Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone and triage calls using standardized protocols
- Provide accurate medical guidance and prioritize patient care needs
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Educate patients on home care instructions and preventive measures
- Manage urgent care referrals and coordinate specialist appointments
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Current California RN license with active BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years acute care or emergency nursing experience
- Valid triage certification (e.g., ENPC, TNCC)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong Spanish bilingual skills required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
