Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and medical history via telehealth platforms and phone consultations
- Provide accurate clinical recommendations and prioritize care urgency based on established protocols
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and care coordinators for seamless patient handoffs
- Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) with precise documentation
- Educate patients on home care instructions, medication protocols, and follow-up requirements
- Respond to medical emergencies with calm professionalism and decisive action
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives for triage protocols
Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license with minimum 2 years clinical experience
- BLS/ACLS certification and current BLS instructor preferred
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Cerner experience a plus)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Experience in telehealth or urgent care settings highly desirable
- Ability to work independently while maintaining collaborative team dynamics
- Flexibility to cover evening/weekend shifts as needed
