Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive telephone triage assessments for diverse patient populations
- Accurately prioritize cases using clinical judgment and established protocols
- Document patient encounters in Epic EHR systems with precision
- Collaborate with providers to coordinate urgent and emergent care
- Educate patients on appropriate care pathways and resources
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Maryland (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in emergency or urgent care
- BLS certification; ACLS preferred
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Previous triage experience highly desirable
