Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Help clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Medication Management: Monitor and remind clients to take prescribed medications on schedule.
- Companionship & Social Engagement: Engage clients in conversation, games, and activities to promote mental well-being.
- Light Housekeeping: Assist with meal preparation, laundry, and light cleaning to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Track and report any changes in a client's health condition to the Care Manager or family members.
- Transportation: Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, or shopping trips as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Required.
- CNA / PCA Certification: Preferred but not required (training provided).
- Valid Driver's License: Must have reliable transportation.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and medical staff.
- Patience & Empathy: A genuine desire to help elderly or disabled individuals.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and dedicated to the schedule.
