Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense and verify prescription medications following HIPAA protocols
- Manage pharmaceutical inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stock rotation
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient records with precision
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling to patients
- Collaborate with pharmacists on compounding and sterile product preparation
- Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Train new technicians on pharmacy workflows and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Active Minnesota Pharmacy Technician license or willingness to obtain immediately
- 1+ years of retail or hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Precision in medication dispensing and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for patient interactions
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency with pharmacy software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
