Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Process insurance claims and manage patient billing
- Maintain precise inventory control and stock rotation protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling
- Utilize pharmacy software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell) for order processing
- Prepare sterile compounds and IV admixtures
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy regulations
Qualifications
- Active California Pharmacy Technician license
- PTB certification or equivalent required
- 1+ years retail/hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Proficiency in prescription processing systems
- Strong math and medication verification skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods
