Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense medications and prepare prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, receiving, and stock rotation
- Process insurance claims and verify patient eligibility
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling

- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
- Texas state pharmacy technician license
- Minimum 1 year retail or hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of medication interactions and pharmaceutical calculations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in pharmacy software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
