Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, and specimen collection
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage patient records using EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Administer medications and immunizations under provider supervision
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Triage patient calls and prioritize urgent cases
- Coordinate with night shift nursing staff for seamless patient care
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA/RMA) required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Experience with EMR systems
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work variable overnight shifts
