Responsibilities
- Prepare and package prescription medications for customers with accuracy and efficiency.
- Verify prescription information, including drug interactions and allergies, for patient safety.
- Assist the Pharmacist with medication therapy management and clinical services.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including restocking shelves and ordering supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and resolving concerns.
- Process insurance claims and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations and laws.
Qualifications
- Current and active Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or ExCPT) required.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (for on-call coverage).
