Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare, label, and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stock rotation
- Process insurance claims and third-party billing efficiently
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and pharmacy documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Ensure compliance with DEA, FDA, and state pharmacy regulations
- Operate automated dispensing systems and pharmacy management software
Qualifications
- Active Texas Pharmacy Technician license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Prior pharmacy experience preferred; new graduates welcome with training
- Strong attention to detail and mathematical accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Basic computer proficiency with pharmacy software (training provided)
- Pass background check and drug screening
