Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and rotation of pharmaceuticals
- Process insurance claims and maintain accurate patient records
- Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and adherence
- Operate pharmacy software and maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active NC Pharmacy Technician license or certification
- Minimum 1 year retail/hospital pharmacy experience
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and regulations
- Proficiency in pharmacy management systems (e.g., QS1, Rx30)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
