Responsibilities
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and restocking pharmaceutical supplies
- Prepare IV admixtures and sterile compounds in compliance with USP 797 standards
- Process insurance claims and maintain patient medication records
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following HIPAA and OSHA guidelines
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Pharmacy Technician certification required
- Minimum 1 year of hospital or retail pharmacy experience
- Proficiency in pharmacy software (e.g., Omnicell, QS/1)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
- Basic understanding of sterile compounding procedures
