As a key member of our pharmacy team, you'll work alongside licensed pharmacists to ensure accurate medication dispensing, inventory management, and exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense prescription medications using provided automated dispensing systems
- Manage inventory of pharmaceutical supplies and equipment with provided digital tracking tools
- Assist pharmacists in compounding medications using provided compounding equipment
- Maintain accurate patient records using provided pharmacy management software
- Process insurance claims and verify patient information using provided digital systems
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and HIPAA guidelines using provided documentation tools
- Provide exceptional customer service while operating provided prescription verification systems
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician certification required
- Minimum 1 year experience in retail or hospital pharmacy setting
- Proficiency with pharmacy management software and dispensing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of pharmaceutical terminology and abbreviations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
