Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures with precision
- Process and label specimens according to HIPAA protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure equipment calibration and quality control standards
- Provide exceptional patient care during high-volume phlebotomy
- Collaborate with laboratory and clinical teams
- Adhere to OSHA and CLIA regulations
Qualifications
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of venipuncture techniques
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Attention to detail and specimen handling accuracy
- Valid Indiana phlebotomy license
